Space to play
A court that’s 20 metres long and 10 metres wide. At around 50% of the size of a tennis court, a padel court is primed for rapid, strategic and close-quarter interactions.
No strings attached
A lessened-pressure ball, hit with a solid carbon fibre racquet with distinctive holes. Adult racquets weigh between 0.35-0.36kg, children’s racquets from 0.24kg.
Made for doubles
Originating in 1969 in Mexico as a game that family and friends can play together, whatever their level. Two players each side of the net try to outplay their opponents.
